For this assignment, you will apply your knowledge of personality by conducting a personality analysis on a person of your choosing (e.g., someone in your life, a celebrity, movie character, cartoon, famous person in history, etc.). This assignment will require you to demonstrate your ability to apply personality theory and interpret personality assessments. Below is an outline of the steps required to complete the assignment.
Instructions: You must measure your subject’s personality using three approaches to personality. That is, choose three assessments or approaches that you believe to be a comprehensive measurement of your subject’s personality. Then, write a paper describing your approach to personality assessment and the insights gained from your analysis.
You can be creative with your approach to this assignment. Ask yourself: What do I want to know about my subject? Then, select the appropriate approaches to gathering this information!
Steps to completing assignment:
Select a subject to assess
This may be any person of your choosing, from someone in your life to a fictional or historic character.
Identify what you want to learn about your subject. This includes traits, goals or motives, attachment, the self, identity, etc.
Choose three approaches to measure the subject’s personality. You may use any approach discussed in class.
