2/3. Include your cover letter and resume from your assignment.
4/5. Obtain at least two letters of recommendation. A professional letter from a professor or previous employer. A character reference from a clergy person, a coworker, teammate or club/organizational member, or someone else who can attest to your character. 9. Elevator pitch- A prepared statement you would recite if given only a brief moment with someone important (such as the CEO of your dream company). 10. Honors, Awards, Etc. These may consist of employee of the month, student of the week, special volunteer, honor roll, deans list, most improved athlete, MVP, band member of the quarter, or anything you’ve been awarded or acknowledged for. If you have never received any honors or awards, write a paragraph explaining why you feel you have not been recognized or why you deserve to be recognized and list 3 awards or recognitions that you can strive for in the near future.

Career Assessment
Most prominent interests
The most prominent interests in my O*NET interests profiler after the test were artistic
and enterprising interests, with a score of 36 each. Realistic, investigative, social, and
conventional interests scored 27, 31, 27, and 30. Artistic interests involve activities that involve a
lot of creativity in work. Notably, it consists of working in the art industry in activities such as
dancing, creating music, art, designing, and acting, among others. Besides, artistic interests are
works that can be done without following rules. Additionally, artistic occupations involve
creating and performing works of art, including written, visual, and performance art. These jobs
can involve expressing ideas and feelings through various media, from painting and drawing to
music, writing, and theater.
Enterprising interest also appeared most common characteristic linked to my career
interests. According to O*NET, people with ambitious interests like work that has to do with
starting up and carrying out business projects. These people like taking action rather than
thinking about things. Some common characteristics of enterprising people are that they are
persuaders and like leading people, they like making a decision, and they are fond of taking risks
for profits.
Two career jobs that appealed most to me
The first job zone comprises a zone with little or no preparation. One example of such a
job is a waiter or waitress. To become a waiter or waitress, one does not necessarily have
previous knowledge or skills. Employees in this occupation need more training. Besides, an
experienced worker can show you how to handle clients.
Additionally, after gaining a high-school diploma, one qualifies for most jobs in job zone
one. Two careers that appealed to me most in this job zone include logging equipment operators,
3
floor sanders, and finishers. As a logging equipment operator, I would love to use tractors to cut
down trees and transport them into desired areas for loading. As a floor sander and finisher, I
love the art of using my creativity to beautify homes.
In the second job zone, there is some job preparation needed. To be successful in this
area, some previous experience, knowledge, and skills are needed in the current role. For
instance, a secretary ought to have a mastery of recording minutes and delivering agendas in
meetings. Training in this job zone takes several months to be effective in their roles. Two
careers most appealing to me from job zone two include customer service representative and
dental laboratory technician. As a customer service representative, I would love to learn from the
experience of handling different clients with different issues. I apply logic and reasoning to solve
clients’ problems. As a dental lab technician, I would find different solutions to tooth problems.
The third job zone comprises an occupation where medium preparation is needed.
Individuals in this job zone require training of at least one to two years to get adequate
experience to perform their roles. Experience in this field can be obtained from a degree course,
on-job experience, and vocational school training. Barbers and hydroelectric production
managers are two of the most appealing careers in this job zone. As a barber, I want to be very
competitive in showcasing my skills in shaving people’s hair, including incorporating the latest
fashion trends in the market. This would help me get more customers. As a hydroelectric
production manager, I would be very competitive in determining the number of power that can
sustain electric power without failure.
In job zone four, high preparation is needed, with several years of training to get enough
experience to perform their high-demanding roles. Two of the most appealing careers in this job
zone are graphic designers and sales managers. As a graphic designer, I would develop different
4
modern designs and originality. This can help me gain more real estate clients and become more
marketable. As a sales manager, I would develop a unique sales strategy for promoting products
and services.
In job zone five, extensive preparation is needed. A high level of education is also
necessary to be adequately prepared for the job. Two of the most appealing careers in this job
zone include astronomers and lawyers. As an astronomer, I would discover things in the universe
to explain events unfamiliar to most people. As a lawyer, I would develop policies leading to
more social justice.

writing, creative writing, or copywriting, I have the skills and experience to deliver high-quality
content that will meet the job’s requirements.

Specifically, detail your career plan after obtaining your bachelor’s degree in psychology
