FREE Health Related Community Organization Final Power Point
Students are required to complete a Health related community Organization Power Point for the final project. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Final should contain the following:
1. Clearly identify 6 FREE LOCAL Health related organizations within New York State that help our communities. (Located in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island, Bronx, Westchester or Staten Island) (3pts)
2. Describe how these organizations have impacted our community (2pts)
3. Summarizeeachorganization’smainpurpose(4pts)
4. Useimagesandbecreativewithyourpowerpoint(2pts)
5. Describe how and why each organization relates to different chapters in the Connect
Core Concepts in Health (Brief) 17th edition eBook Meaning at (least 2 chapters per agency)
(6pts)
6. Describe each targeted population for each organization (specific tell us the target group) (2pts)
7. Include all contact information for each health organization, this means the address location, phone number, email and website. (4pts)
8. This should be no less than 20 slides. Remember like a presentation you are explaining the organization to me as if I have never heard of it. (font Times new Roman no smaller then 26 font) (2pts)
9. Upload the Microsoft Power Point to the folder assigned at the end of the semester and email will be sent out letting you know when to upload during finals week. Double check you can view it, if I can not open it is a zero, no make-ups the only reason I would not be able to open it is because it was not done on Microsoft power point. NO GOOGLE DOCS NO PDF’S
