poverty.
How to Achieve the Mission
The mission would be achieved by having a
critical cooperation amongst the team members.
Team work is an essential aspect of success in the
program
Coming up with the best kind of food as far as
proper nutrition is concerned.
Looking for an appropriate amount of resources.
Activities
The program would start by food preparation, meant for the
breakfast.
Secondly, the team would put together the essential commodities like
the required food, forks, spoons, plates, and cups.
Having the needy or the hungry come together for the meal
We also saw it in the best interest to have some extra snack packed
just in case anyone in attendance turned up.
Activities
The spoons and the forks were wrapped to wait for the moment
The prepared food was placed in a plastic bag waiting to be
transported
Different kind of food were sorted and placed in different plastic bags
The refrigerator was cleaned
Bad food was removed from the fridge
Drinks were parked in a plastic bag too
Activities
Educating the hungry on the need to have a
balanced diet and a proper nutrition
Providing education on some of the affordable
food products that they would use to boost their
health and nutritional levels
Advice on the consequences of lacking proper
nutrition.
Distribution of Tasks
Every member was offered his or her own task
that they were supposed to carry out
While some were meant to do the packing, others
had already prepared the food
Three were tasked with the role of mobilizing the
hungry people to come together
Two of the members were meant to carry out the
serving
Benefits by the Community
They needy or the hungry people would have
benefited from the kind of breakfast provided
Social interaction

people, most of whom would not afford expensive kind of food
Benefits of the Initiative

on someone’s face
The program was meant to enhance nutritional matters in
the society
The program brought different categories of hungry
people in the society, hence, creating a wonderful social
interaction
Project Mission Statement
The
food was prepared mainly for the
homeless and the poor people suffering out
in the streets
It
was aimed at showing everyone
compassion and the need to be happy with
life
Disadvantages of the Initiative
The program was costly
Funding the whole program appropriately as
students was such a challenging task
Some of the homeless people would turn against
each other and end up fighting
Purpose and Justification
The project’s purpose was to show compassion to
the poor and homeless people, while at the same
time advocating for people leaving with
disabilities. By encouraging different people from
various quarters to donate, it was possible to
boost the level of self-awareness about people
living with disability.
Time
The
program was to
begin at 7 a.m. and
end at 10 a.m.
Student’s Testimonials
For
the team to gauge their
performance, it was deemed necessary
to carry out a discussion that would
table different testimonials from the
team members.
1st Student
Nutritional issues are quite fundamental in such a
manner.
There was need for nutritional values to be
enhanced across different levels of people
2nd Student
Felt
important to be with the hungry while at
the same time feeding them with breakfast
Most of the kind of food carried were the
most nutritional ones, hence the event could
be counted as a success.
Also because as a volunteer it is kind of cool
thing to do it for nothing just to enjoy doing
it
3rd Student
The
activities brought about a
special level of social interaction
within the team members and the
hungry people who enjoyed their
breakfast
Pimpa’s Personal Reflection
When volunteering my time to others, make me
feel altruistic. It make me realized that are many
hungry people out there need us.
For me, as a volunteer I feel so great for having
an opportunity to give back and make a
difference in someone’s life is a deed with
immeasurable benefits to all parties involved.
Zainab’s Personal Reflection
Having
fed hungry with breakfast was
a wonderful experience especially
when I used to do the same activity in
my country which let me compare
between different country
Also I felt so happy to do work without
any benefits which let my humanity
come out with feeling of pleasure.
Marih’s Personal Reflection
The
event was quite a wonderful one and easy
to connect with
I
am so glad to give people a chance to ask me
to help them without any hesitate.
In
that place I felt we are all the same donors
and volunteer which is so nice to be all equal.
I
felt so amazed while I tried something new
because of this class I have the chance going
to a place I have not thought to go to before.
High Level Support
It
was deemed necessary t o provide
some level of support to the poor
people hence enhancing nutritional
values amongst the society.
Through such initiatives, it would be
easier to promote issues of nutrition
amongst individual members of the
society
Milestone Summary
There would be proper coordination before the program is
initiated
The program director would have to give communications
now and again about the initiative

of thanks before we left.
All of the people given permission
to speak appreciated the fact that
we had turned up to the event
Donor’s Word
The
donors and the volunteers stated that
our efforts were quite positive and such
groups would be required in the society
more again
They
offered themselves for next time just
in case there was such an event to be
carried out.
Conclusion and Summary
At the end of the event ،It was generally a good
feeling that each person that took place in the
activity went home a happy person for the success
that it had.
Also the Mission’s donors thanked us to come and help
and they took a picture to our group to keep it with
them for memory which was nice of them
