Scientific and Mathematical/Analytical Perspectives of Inquiry Paper It is a paper about abortion. APA 7TH EDITION. I have also attached some of my other essays on abortion I have written for her class; it can be used as a guide and reference as to what I’m writing about. Thank you!
Compose a focused paper that explains and describes your healthcare issue/topic from the scientific and mathematical/analytical perspectives of inquiry. (You will cover two perspectives in one paper.) Address your general topic by forming and answering two levels of research questions for each inquiry. Choose a “Level 1 Research Question/Writing Prompt” from both of the lists below to answer in the paper. Compose a “Level 2 Research Question/Writing Prompt” for each kind of inquiry that provides detail, specificity, and focus to your inquiry, research, and writing. State your research questions in the introduction of your paper. Answer each research question and support your assertions with evidence (research) to form the body of your paper. In the conclusion of the paper, briefly review the issues, research questions, answers, and insights. Level 1 Research Questions/Writing Prompts SCIENTIFIC Perspective of Inquiry What are the anatomical, physiological, pathological, or epidemiological issues? Which body systems are affected? What happens at the cellular or genetic level? Which chemical or biological issues are most important? Level 1 Research Questions/Writing Prompts MATHEMATICAL/ANALYTICAL Perspective of Inquiry What are the economic issues involved? Which economic theories or approaches best explain the issue? What are the statistical facts related to the issue? Which statistical processes used to study the issue provide for the best explanation or understanding?

Impact of Abortion Law Reforms on Women’s Health Services and Outcomes Systematic
Review Protocol
This article discusses the following matters such as unsafe abortion, abortion
laws/policies, and the impact it has in general. The overall effect of unsafe abortion, abortion
laws/procedures, and their widespread influence heavily rely on the legal framework surrounding
abortion within a country. The legal structure governing abortion plays a vital role in establishing
favorable conditions for ensuring safe abortion practices. It is unclear how these measures will
affect how easily women access and use healthcare services or how their health will respond.
Annually, nearly a million women are admitted to hospitals due to complications arising from
unsafe abortions, including but not limited to hemorrhage, infections, and septic shock.
Expectations are that progressive developments will enhance women’s ability to obtain safe
abortions, leading to improved health outcomes such as reduced rates of mortality and disability
related to unsafe abortions. I believe this article will be beneficial in getting my point across
about abortion, how serious it is, and how people feel about the topic.
Interventions to Reduce Stigma Related to Contraception and Abortion: A Scoping Review
This article states the research and interventions done to reduce contraception and
abortion. Societal stigma regarding contraception and abortion has diverse consequences on
physical and mental well-being. These include unwanted pregnancies, criminalization, the need
for secrecy, unsafe abortion practices, resulting complications, and inadequate abortion care. A
recent scoping analysis examined how the presence of abortion stigma impacts the quality of
abortion services, revealing that interventions aimed at reducing stigma play a critical role in
improving quality and reducing the risk of unsafe abortions. Researchers utilized a four-minute
animated short video as a narrative intervention to promote cognitive restructuring and normalize

the abortion experience. Before receiving services, individuals seeking abortion were shown the
cartoon in the waiting area. This article will help bring research and evidence forward to help
stop abortion and bring awareness to the poor health benefits women have to go through.
Understanding the Role of Race in Abortion Stigma in the United States: A Systematic
Scoping Review
While reading this article, gaining insight into the influence of race and culture on
various aspects of abortion stigma could prove pivotal in broadening access to and fostering
support for abortion services. Three quantitative studies discovered that women of color had
different encounters with abortion stigma than White women. The research uncovered that race,
culture, religion, and immigration had intricate and distinct impacts on abortion stigma. This
article will benefit in showcasing the different views and experiences certain ethnic women had
to face. It will show how women of color are treated compared to white women.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, these three articles will be beneficial in supporting the topic I have chosen
to do, which is abortion, by providing substantial evidence, research, and data as to what women
go through. Each article goes in-depth with specific main points they are trying to bring forward
and background information from years ago leading to what abortion has come to now. Abortion
has become a controversial topic lately, demonstrating the reality of what women are
unfortunately dealing with. The chosen articles elaborate on my research bringing light to the
dreadful truth of what comes from abortion and diving deeper into aspects that one might not
know from the surface.
