Preparation
To prepare for this assignment, complete the following:Select a topic related to the way community systems and policy impact family dynamics. This topic will be the focus of research literature you will critically analyze for the assignments in the course project.Use current family science literature to inform your selection. Your research on this topic must point to ways one could contribute to the current literature, fill gaps, or expand significant areas.Use the Capella library to locate at least 5 peer-reviewed, scholarly journals or other resources that support your topic, which you will include in an annotated bibliography.

This assignment has two parts.
Part 1
For the first part of this assignment, write a brief description of and rationale for your topic:Describe your selected topic in detail, including any specific populations that are affected.Explain how the topic is related to community systems, policy, and family dynamics.Explain how current family science literature contributed to the selection of this topic, and provide the rationale behind your selection.
Part 2
As you review the scholarly research relevant to the topic you have selected, create an annotated bibliography to organize your sources. For each source, provide the APA citation and URL. Then, write an annotation for each source that includes the following, as applicable (all may not apply for every source):The research method used in the study.Any measurement or test used in the study.Summary of major findings.An analysis of possibilities for further research suggested by the study.Questions you had.Gaps or ideas for additional research you have identified.Other notes.
