Topic: Differing Schools of Thought
Contemporary psychology has become highly diverse. Many perspectives, or schools of thought, have been adopted to study psychology. There are five major psychological perspectives: Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Behavioral, Neuroscience, and Cognitive. Each perspective views behavior and experience in a unique way and sometimes may contradict other perspectives.
After reading Chapter 1 and examining the 5 major psychological perspectives, write a one-page, double-spaced paper (250 words minimum) in which you compare and contrast the perspectives. Be sure to identify the distinguishing features of each perspective.
