Purpose
The best way to make sense of the concepts you learn about in a textbook is by experiencing or observing it around you. For this journal assignment, you will have an opportunity to learn about the ongoing experiences of an individual the fits into this period of development and reflect on how these experiences relate to concepts you have learned about.
Instructions
Step 1: Interview someone that is between the ages of 40 – 60. Use the questions below as examples and add other questions of your choosing, to gain a better understanding of development that has occurred up to this stage of life. Refer back to the chapters in your book discussing Middle Adulthood years and develop questions that will assist you with gaining better understanding of your interviewee’s social, emotional, and physical development.
