PERSONAL SAFETY AND RISK MANAGEMENT
Task:
1. Answer the questions in a written report.
2. Prepare a written report on the anatomy, causes, symptomology,
diagnosis and prognosis of concussions in sport.
3. Prepare a written report on the incidence and return to play protocol
for concussions in a particular sport as assigned.

Task 2: Prepare a report on the incidence and return to play protocol for
concussions in your sport. Include the details of incidence and protocol for
both youth/minor sport and elite/professional levels. Ask the following
questions: (use headers to separate each topic of discussion)

Task 3: Research a particular athlete in your sport and give the details of
their concussion/s. How did it occur? (Show video if possible) What is the
protocol in their sport? How long were they out for? Did the athlete ever
return? Describe the rehab process for a concussion athlete? What were
some of the problems or issues for your athlete while they were concussed?
Did the athlete have multiple concussions? (What were the circumstances?
Did they return to soon?) How did their career go after the concussion?
Were they able to perform at the same level?
