(1) Topic:Choose a topic related to any of the topics in this course.
(2) Resources: Find at least 3 different resources to research your topic and use in your paper. One of these may be a course resource. The other two must be resources you find on your own: Professional journals, professional articles or videos, .org or .edu websites. These must be professional/educational resources only.
(2) Write: Explain in a research paper how it relates to children and families, the impact it has on the development of children and the well-being of the family, and what resources we have in our community that could support the family and the child. Further describe the strategies, coping skills, challenges, and positives of the topic, what you learned from the research, and how you could use the information in your future work with children and families. Additionally, find a children’s book related to this topic in any way.

There can be repeats as long as there is a different place interviewed! For example, you can visit a different childcare center
than another student, or a different county for Child Protection Servcies. There should not be two students at the same place,
as that will demand too much time of the professionals working there!
Make an appointment, and tell them you will only take up 20 minutes of their time. Be ready and organized with your
